Adult Corrections Officer Recruit
As an Adult Corrections Officer Recruit with the State of Hawaiʻi Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, you will supervise individuals in secure facilities, promote positive behavior, maintain safety and security, and support rehabilitation efforts. You’ll play a vital role in creating a respectful environment where integrity, responsibility, and aloha are at the heart of everything we do.
Requirements:
Must be at least 20 years old at the time of application
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident alien
No felony convictions
Ability to pass a background investigation, psychological evaluation, drug screening, and physical fitness test
